For the first time trying out this business while in business in O'Fallon. The atmosphere and service was great. Love the small business that goes over and above to take care of their customers!! The portion size and the flavors of the food are what was definitely expected when stopping in. Would definitely visit again when in town.
Thai kitchen great. Grub hub delivery, not so much. No tracking, didn't ring the doorbell, no communication.
Had our first visit last night and can not wait to go back! True hospitality and the food was so delicious! Ong! I had the Shrimp Pad Thai and my husband stand had the Crispy Grouper incredible! Such gracious service and lovely atmosphere! Very reasonable price point, as well!
I recently visited Thai Kitchen in O'Fallon with a friend on a quiet Friday evening. We were the only ones there, which made for a peaceful dining experience. We ordered the Red Thai Curry and Penang Curry, both vegetarian with tofu. Interestingly, they looked almost identical, but the flavors were distinct. The Red Curry was especially delicious, with a perfect blend of spices, while the Penang Curry was also good, just a bit milder. The service was prompt, and we enjoyed a relaxed meal. Overall, a solid spot for tasty Thai food, and I'd definitely return.
Awesome spot! Have had take out and dine in, both times had chicken pad thai and both times were wonderful. Tons of flavor, option to choose your spice, and portions are large. The service is phenomenal as well. They have a very expansive menu and tons of drink options. Delicious Thai iced tea and they even have an espresso martini with Thai coffee- delicious. I believe they recently expanded into the space next door as well. There is plenty of seating available and they have a bar. I will definitely be back!
My favorite place to eat! You can't go wrong with any dish, my favorite combo are the Thai dumplings, pad Thai 4*, and fried banana dish for the desert. The servers stay on top of refilling the drinks which is helpful when taking down a spicy dish and on top of they everybody is nice! The ambience is exquisite, low light, lovely music turned down low, beautiful decor, and clean tables everywhere. I love this place so much because it really seems to capture the REAL Thai flavor; unlike some of these other restaurants that make every dish with the same ingredients Thai Kitchen uses the freshest and most diverse ingredients all while creating a perfect presentation.
The updated space is great- lots of cozy seating and places for larger groups or small date nights. My husband and I usually do some takeout and I am glad we went in and sat down. The service was excellent and they made wonderful suggestions for my husband and his picky tastebuds. The food came out quickly and the tofu and the veggies were cooked to perfection! I had the waitress pick for me because I couldn't decide between a noodle dish or a curry- and I am never disappointed with either. I love the crispy cheese rolls as they are a vegetarian friendly tasty creamy way to start the meal- and I also always grab a Thai coffee or tea! Make sure you plan for a night at this great space and try all of the amazing flavors on the menu!
Expanded and redecorated space now gives a more upscale ambiance. The menu changed to go along with the upscale (but strip-mall in O'fallon) so lunches are now 11.99 on up. On a Friday-- It is a good thing they offer tasty and healthy Thai cuisine. I still felt I could celebrate after my doctor's appointment. This is not a normal cheap lunch spot. The service was very polite yet friendly. A complimentary cup of cabbage soup is still served. A glass of tap water was also provided. Now for the hot tea... $2.95 Fresh Spring Rolls... $7.95 Cup of Tom Kha Kal. $6.95 This made me realize the $11.95 lunch entrees are the better bargain. This place is more upscale so I will only be a treat for me.
Thai Kitchen is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. The interior has been newly remodeled and has a stylish cozy atmosphere. Every employee we met was friendly and helpful. The food is always great! My favorite, of course, is the Pad Thai. I appreciate that you can pick the level of spiciness. They also offer kid meals including a fried rice and a fried noodles option. We would recommend this place and plan on returning!
First try, and seemed like a popular local Thai restaurant worth experiencing, dine-in or takeout. Stopped in around 6p Saturday, restaurant was 1/2 filled so we were seated immediately by friendly staff, also receiving prompt table service. Decor was relaxed and casual, and tasty food delivered hot and quickly from the kitchen. Overall 4.0 rating for food quality, service and ambience. Expect to pay $9-15 for apps and $15-18 for entrees. Tonite we tried the Fried Tofu and Curry Potstickers appetizers. The Panang Curry sauce served with the Chicken Potstickers was excellent, elevating the dish more than plain potstickers, I liked them! The Fried Tofu was OK, and served with a peanut spiced Thai sauce and side of cucumber/onion which helped dish tastiness; but I think you have to like Tofu as food, otherwise I'd suggest another starter dish like crispy Spring Rolls, Thai steamed dumplings or Thai Beef Jerky. For entree, we shared the Pad Thai (2 spice) with both Chicken and Shrimp. The bowl was plenty for us given we weren't super hungry, and the noodle and protein flavors tender and delicious. Ask for the "spice rack" if you want extra hot chili oil, Sriracha or Red peppers, which all definitely give an extra kick if you prefer spiciness! Generous portion, so think the bowl as a single meal is plenty to fill anyone up! I will return and try some of their other specialty's, but the meal tonite hit the spot. Enjoy!!
